The Provafi Team

Your transaction advisory professionals

Our story

Provafi started with a pattern Matt kept seeing while supporting diligence on deals from searcher acquisitions to lower middle market buyouts. Quality of Earnings scopes varied widely, with very different outputs and takeaways for the clients who relied on them. Some reports were so limited that they left buyers exposed to real risk. Others ran to $20,000 or more in fees without matching the work to the size and risk of the deal.

Provafi was built to right-size that work: a fixed-scope, fixed-fee QoE prepared and reviewed by people who have done this at larger firms, priced for deals under $10 million. Buyers get a defensible earnings number, sellers get a clean databook that holds up under review, and lenders get a report they can underwrite to.
